Unfortunately it doesn't seem that Knights of the Old Republic 1 was one of these, as I can't find a gamepad mod for it anywhere. If you have Kotor 2, you can see what the game binds by default to the gamepad, then you can just write that down or whatever and copy it to Kotor 1's binding.
